A Clinical study on the Neonatal Exchange Transfusion.

A clinical observation was performed on patients with neonatal hyperbilirubinemia who were treated by exchange transfusion, and following results were obtained. Exchange transfusion was performed in 31 cases (8% of 383 csases admitted due to neonatal hyperbilirubinemia during the observation period). There was no sex predominance (male 16, female 15).
